Academician by passion and Chartered Accountant by profession, Prof. K C Mehta founded the firm in 1958 to practise what he used to teach at the prestigious M S University. During his three-decade long association with the University, he also graced the position of Pro-Vice Chancellor.

Presently, Prof. Mehta involves himself in directing the strategies of the firm, mentoring young professionals and spearheading the client feedback process. During the founding years of the practice, Prof. Mehta instilled the spirit of academic excellence and high-quality consciousness amongst the members of the team, which continues till date. He was also instrumental in developing a spirit of sharing knowledge with fellow professionals, which the members of the firm adhere to even today.

Prof. Mehta has been Chairman of the Baroda Branch of ICAI. He has also been co-opted as member of the Board of Studies of the ICAI and several universities in the country. Prof. Mehta has taught and trained few thousand professionals of which hundreds are successful Chartered Accountants.

Mr. Bakshi has a five-decade long professional career in industry and professional practice. Apart from being a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, he also topped the examinations of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, U.K. (ICAS) and was awarded the King George V Silver Jubilee Commemoration Prize.

His industry experience helps in understanding and managing client expectations. Mr. Bakshi has advised various multinationals with special focus on the areas of exchange control, risk management & international business. Mr. Bakshi is part of senior management of the firm and a mentor to many.

Mr. Bakshi introduced strict rules of independence of the firm much before the issue of independence was a matter of major discussion and helped the firm in devising its strict independence policy and compliance with the same. Presently, apart from being a part of the team of mentors, he also guides the Compliance and Independence monitoring of the firm.

Mr. Doshi is a veteran auditor and consultant. He was one of the earliest Chartered Accountants of the country to venture into corporate audits and now has more than five decades of experience of handling statutory audits with focus on corporate audits. He also holds a degree in Law. Mr. Doshi's focus has been to provide good governance practice in the family-owned companies as a medium for growth of the organisation and has several success stories to his credit.

He has been instrumental in developing the internal policies and procedures for the attest function discharged by the firm. He spearheads the team which reviews the work done by the firm and ensures adherence to the internal policies of the firm. He is also part of the team of mentor partners.

Milin Mehta has been leading the practice of the firm for over three decades. Under his leadership, he has steered the firm to expand its scope of services and geographic presence. He has been instrumental in instilling the spirit of high ethical standards in the firm and driving quality growth. Besides being a Chartered Accountant, he is also a Law Graduate. His multi-faceted and meritorious academics and experience gives him opportunity to serve clients in the areas ranging from accounting to tax, valuations to strategies and governance to law.

Milin has earlier led the tax practice of the firm and was responsible in setting up the international tax and transfer pricing practice. Milin presently focuses on the Transaction Advisory Services of the firm, while also providing technical leadership to the Tax practice.

Milin's ability to articulate a point and his fair approach has enabled him to negotiate very complex cases. He cherishes arguing in complex tax litigations and has to his credit several reported decisions, some of which are pathbreaking. He was invited by the Finance Ministry, Government of India, through CBDT to be member of the committee appointed for formulation of ICDS as well as MAT Computation under Ind-AS scenario.

Due to his active participation in the activities of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and contribution in the seminars and conferences throughout the country, Milin has developed an excellent network amongst the professionals. He serves as Independent/Non-executive Director in various listed and unlisted companies and chairs their audit committees. He is a prolific speaker and has presented papers and delivered talks in seminars at national level.

Vishal leads the Audit & Assurance practice of the firm and is also the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the firm. Vishal is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of professional experience. He also possesses Diplomas in Information System Audit (ICAI) and Insurance and Risk Management (ICAI).

Vishal looks after the Assurance functions of listed companies, government companies, multinational companies & large corporates. He also specialises in the area of convergence from India GAAP to Ind-AS / IFRS and has successfully led some very prestigious Ind-AS implementation and convergence projects in oil & gas, power and manufacturing sectors.

As COO, Vishal plays a supportive role to each of the departments, functions and locations. He also supports the KCM Leadership in executing the strategic vision and new initiatives.

Vishal has made presentations on host of technical and non-technical subjects at various seminars, workshops, Certificate & Intensive Courses of various professional and academic institutions.

Vishal is a member of International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board for the term 2024-26. He has also served the ICAI in various leadership roles at the Baroda Branch, Regional Council (WIRC) and Central Council.

To his credit Vishal has been awarded Rashtrapati Scout Award by Shri K. R. Narayanan, Hon'ble President of India. He was also appointed Expert member on the Board of Studies in Accounting & Financial Management (Faculty of Commerce) for the term 2020-23 by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

Shripad presently leads the Corporate Tax practice, apart from being Client Relationship Head for some large prestigious clients of the firm. With more than three decades of professional experience, he has developed a niche in the area of tax representation.

He focuses on compliance and representation for Corporate Tax matters. Shripad has successfully handled complex matters ranging from corporate tax assessments and the assessments made consequent to tax investigation, searches, and surveys. He also advises high net worth clients in areas of finance, investment and taxation thereof.

Apart from this, he takes active interest in the management of the firm, regarding the matters of labour compliances, statutory requirements and overall administration in the interest of employees. He leads the social initiatives of the firm.

He also manages payable verification and inventory management of large corporates also and fixed asset management. This includes perpetual inventory verification, fixed asset verification and payable management. He also advises various large corporates and provides support to meet their employee tax obligations as well.

Chirag is a Chartered Accountant with more than three decades of experience. Chirag leads the Management Audit & Indirect Tax practice of the firm.

Chirag has deep knowledge of Indirect Taxes and Foreign Exchange regulations which provides cross functional abilities. He led the team during the critical transition phase from various indirect taxes to GST, which is regarded as one of the major reforms of independent India, by providing clients improvised and optimal business model considering newly introduced GST regulations. He was invited by the Government of Gujarat to assist them in suggesting revenue neutral rate to the GST Council.

His special love for IT systems and security gives him an edge to add value to the clients in ERP gap analysis, implementation support and process improvements through system controls. He is also a certified information system auditor and has obtained qualification in Computer Aided Audit Techniques. Along with it, he has PGP in Data Science, Purdue University, USA.

Arpit Jain is part of the firm's Strategy & Transactions practice. With over two decades of professional experience, Arpit specializes in guiding clients through the full deal lifecycle including financial and tax due diligence, business valuations, deal structuring, negotiation support, and post-transaction integration.

He brings deep expertise in advising on complex cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic business transformations. His sectoral exposure is wide-ranging, having worked with both domestic and multinational corporations on high-impact, growth-oriented engagements.

Prior to his current role, Arpit headed the firm's International Tax and Transfer Pricing practice, where he played an instrumental role in building a robust platform serving global clients with complex cross-border operations.

Arpit's work spans multiple strategic areas. He advises clients on identifying and executing mergers and acquisitions, preparing businesses for IPOs, and managing investor relationships. He is actively involved in business reorganizations aimed at improving operational efficiency, optimizing tax structures, and enhancing stakeholder value. He also helps businesses formulate growth strategies through market entry, diversification, and strategic alliances. In addition, Arpit has significant experience working with family-owned enterprises, supporting them on matters related to succession planning, asset distribution, and governance frameworks.

He also heads the firm's Ahmedabad office, where he leads key client relationships and oversees talent development and operational growth.

Arpit's leadership excellence has been nationally recognized—he was named among the Top 100 Great People Managers in India by the Great Managers Institute, in collaboration with Forbes India.

Neela is a Chartered Accountant with more than three decades of professional experience and possesses a Degree in Law as well. She is a part of the Leadership team of the Audit & Assurance practice of the firm.

Neela not only has a rich experience of handling assignments of listed companies but is very strong in the audits of Government Companies. She has helped several Government Corporations in their accounting and financial reporting functions.

Neela has handled audits of complex business organisations across different segments. She also reviews the work carried out by the team leaders across the assurance practice in so far as the audit documentation process is concerned.

Bhavin leads Corporate Tax practice of the firm. He is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of professional experience. Bhavin regularly advises clients on major corporate tax issues and represents them before the tax and appellate authorities too.

Bhavin has successfully handled several tax litigations matters of diverse natures, including those involving transfer pricing adjustments, admissibility of business deductions or incentives, capital gains and penalties.

Along with it, he is the Management Representative for ISO Audits and ensures firm-wide adherence with ISO Standards.

Chhaya is a Chartered Accountant and qualified Information System Auditor who has completed the Certificate Course on Ind AS. With over 25 years of professional experience, she specializes in statutory audits of listed companies, tax audits, and VAT audits for both corporate and non-corporate clients. Her expertise particularly shines in banking sector assignments, including concurrent audits, stock audits, and specialized inspections. Her deep understanding of banking operations has proven invaluable to the firm's service delivery. Additionally, she actively mentors and manages emerging Chartered Accountant professionals within the firm.

Darshana is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of professional experience. She leads the Corporate Advisory and Incubation Support Services practice while also supporting Transaction Advisory services. With more than 25 years of experience in top management at a large-listed company, she brings extensive industrial expertise to her role.

Her expertise encompasses restructuring assignments, transaction support for mergers and joint ventures, new business setup compliances, regular accounting and compliance matters, and obtaining consents and approvals for various entities. Her dual experience in both industry and practice enables her to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and help clients achieve their objectives. Darshana has also served as a Woman Director on the board of a listed company.

Akshay leads the Corporate Tax practice of the Ahmedabad office. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 22 years of professional experience. Akshay obtained a Master's degree (Hons.) from M S University of Baroda and also holds a Certificate in International Tax Course from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ('ICAI'). Akshay regularly advises clients on major corporate tax issues and represents them before the tax and appellate authorities.

He specialises in corporate tax and in achieving tax efficiency in various transaction tax related services apart from his involvement in tax compliance and tax litigation. Prashant leads Transfer Pricing practice of the Firm. He brings over 18 years of experience in transfer pricing and international taxation, advising multinational corporations on inbound and outbound transactions, tax treaty interpretations, and regulatory compliance. His specialization includes transfer pricing policies, cross-border tax implications, and documentation requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including India, the USA, Czech Republic, Russia, Netherlands, Italy, France, Germany, and more.

A recognized expert in BEPS Action Plan implementation, Prashant has led assignments on Master File preparation, ensuring transparency and compliance with evolving global tax regulations. He has successfully represented clients before Transfer Pricing Officers across India, handling complex tax positions and regulatory discussions.

Beyond advisory roles, Prashant is committed to education and knowledge sharing. He serves as a faculty member in ICAI's Diploma Course on International Taxation and had been a trainer in Transfer Pricing at the Direct Tax Regional Training Institute of CBDT, Ahmedabad.

Dhaval also leads the Incubation Support Services of the firm and heads the India–Taiwan Corridor. Notably, he holds the unique distinction of being the first Indian Chartered Accountant to serve as the "India Desk" in Taiwan during his tenure with a Big Four firm, reflecting his engagement in cross-border collaboration and strategy.

Dhaval is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and holds a Certificate in International Taxation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He was nominated as a Member of the International Taxation Committee of the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of ICAI for the year 2020–21. He is currently a Council Member of India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA – Ahmedabad Chapter). Shripal Shah is part of Audit & Assurance team having more than 19 years of experience in Audits, Tax and Finance fields.

Apart from being a qualified Chartered Accountant, he holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting from ACCA, UK. He has successfully completed a Certificate Course on Ind AS and on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection, conducted by ICAI. He is also a qualified Information Systems Auditor (DISA).

He specialises in conducting Statutory Audits of Listed, Unlisted, MNCs and Other Companies under Companies Act, 2013 and IFRS regime. He has carried out IFRS and Ind AS Convergence / Transition & Implementation for various entities.

Abhishek is a Chartered Accountant based in Ahmedabad with over 20 years of experience in risk management and internal controls. His expertise spans Risk-based Internal Audits, Process Reviews, Enterprise Risk Assessment, IFC Framework Design, and SOP Development & Implementation for multinational corporations, listed companies, and private enterprises.

His international experience includes conducting Internal Audits across USA, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Africa. Notably, he led the development and global implementation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) framework for a Fortune 500 company.

Before joining KCM, Abhishek was instrumental in establishing the Risk Assurance practice for a Big 4 consulting firm in Gujarat.

Bhadresh is a Chartered Accountant with over two decades of post-qualification experience. His expertise is in handling GST, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, UAE VAT and erstwhile Indirect Tax matters (i.e., Excise, Service tax and VAT/Sales tax).

Bhadresh has his flair in managing and leading indirect tax related assignments across sectors, including structuring, advisory, managing compliances, audits, refunds, litigations. He has also actively worked on Customs assignments, including Special Valuation Branch of Customs as well as FTP assignments, including claim of duty credit scrips, advice on availing various FTP incentives such as EPCG, etc.

He has also been engaged in aiding clients set up systems and processes in place to take care of GST in India and VAT in GCC region (more specifically UAE). He has been actively involved in matters relating to advocacy and representations before the Government through various chambers of commerce and directly for his clients on matters related to GST and Customs. Virat is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of post-qualification experience in the field of Direct Tax and is part of our Corporate Tax team mainly for advisory and representations. He has also done DISA from ICAI.

Tax advisory and litigation are his focus areas especially in the matters which involve high-pitched tax assessments. Virat regularly assists clients in formulating methodologies to defend their complex tax litigations. He has represented clients before multiple judicial fora, including ITATs and briefed Senior Counsels. He is having in-depth experience in advising various clients on matters involving tax implication of their foreign income and assets under the Black Money Act in India. He regularly provides services for various clients exposed to search & seizure actions under the Income Tax Act.

Virat has been a prominent Corporate Tax speaker, at multiple conferences, seminars and forums like ICAI, Bar Associations and other professional bodies across the country on various tax matters, including ICDS, Search & Seizure and Faceless Representations. Ankur, a member of our Audit & Assurance team in Vadodara, has over 14 years of experience in the field of Audit and Assurance. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Postgraduate in Commerce (M. Com). He has successfully completed Certification Course on 'Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection' and 'Indian Accounting Standard' conducted by ICAI. Prior to joining the firm, Ankur worked with two large auditing international firms for 10 years. Gaurav provides recommendations for the optimum usage of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and the automation of process controls. Vandit, a qualified Cost & Management Accountant (CMA), has over 14 years of professional experience.

Nirmit is an MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than 9 years of work experience. Nirmit co-leads the Strategic Advisory practice of the firm. Nirmit was part of the litigation strategy and execution practice of the firm before he joined IIM-Ahmedabad to pursue his management studies.

As part of KCM's Strategic Advisory division, Nirmit has led diverse consulting assignments such as Strategic Market Assessment for a renowned metal recycler, Market Entry strategy & Marketing audit for world's biggest paracetamol manufacturer, Strategic Market Assessment and Fundraising strategy for an auto component company. With a view to help clients leverage AI technology into their operations, Nirmit initiated the AI Transformation service as part of Strategic Advisory and advised a renowned publicly listed EPC company on using AI tools in their engineering division and a roadmap for a successful AI integration.

At IIM, Ahmedabad, Nirmit got an opportunity to undertake and execute diverse projects. From carrying out primary research through field survey to analysing the business case of a fast-growing Insurtech company, from dissecting the strategy of a major political party to drafting a mental health manifesto for an organization, from evaluating a GenAI Edtech business idea to working on product innovation for a major retail bank. Currently at KCM, Sanjana co-leads the Strategic Advisory vertical wherein she has worked on diverse projects including evaluation of new market opportunities for clients, business turnaround for underperforming units, new alliance strategy for clients, market entry into new geographies and making clients IPO ready by improving structure, systems and governance.

She also supports the Transaction Advisory practice of the firm and has worked across the transaction life cycle including financial due diligence, business valuation, transaction structuring, and negotiation. She has been part of some key transactions lead by KCM where she offered end-to-end transaction advisory services, managing multiple stakeholders, and handholding clients through the M&A processes. She has worked across industries such as pharmaceuticals, speciality chemicals, auto-components, and power.

During her stint at IIM-A, Sanjana worked on diverse projects and research work including start-up ideation, execution planning, investor pitching, and live projects offering innovative solutions to real world business problems. She was part of the student body that carried out consulting projects for industry clients while on campus.
